MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) has confirmed that supporters of candidates in Grand Kru County have attacked its magisterial offices in the County, with stones being thrown.

According to NEC Chairperson, Davidetta Browne-Lansanah, supporters of candidates in the County have threatened to set ablaze the magisterial offices locked-up with NEC staffs.

The aggrieved supporters attributed their action to the reported delay by NEC to release the final results for the County.

Madam Browne-Lansanah has, therefore, called on the Ministry of Justice and the Liberia National Police to send a response team to calm the situation.
