MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia has benefitted from the donation of a huge consignment of medical supplies from the Government and people of India.

Presenting the medical supplies to Liberian Authorities Tuesday, November 24, 2020, India Ambassador to Liberia Y.K.Sailas Thangai said:” The donation is a token of love and appreciation from the Government and people of India.”

He said though India and Liberia and India are separated by geographical distance, the two Countries are one in many aspects, noting the ties and cooperation between the two Countries will improve.

The Indian Ambassador said his Government is keen on doing more business with the Government of Liberia in various sectors.

Ambassador Thangai said:” The medicines are to support Liberia in its fight against the Coronavirus and other illnesses, during this period of health emergency across the world.”
