BEIJING, CHINA-Chinese President Xi Jinping has lauded African Governments for embracing the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
Speaking recently at programs marking the 20th Anniversary Celebrations in Beijing, President Xi urged African Governments to uphold and implement the objectives of FOCAC.
He said:” Since its establishment, the Cooperation has enhanced fairness and encouraged multilateralism.”
The Chinese Leaders called on African Governments to continue to enjoy improved trade, human resource development, among others.
President Xi also extolled Africans for standing China during the outbreak of the Corovirus pandemic.
He recounted the dedicated and sacrificial roles Africans played during the global health crisis.
The next FOCAC Anniversary will be held in Dakar, Senegal.
