Police arrest several protestors believed to be Guineans in Monrovia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Police in Monrovia has arrested several persons believed to be Guineans for their alleged involvement in protest, at the Embassy of their Country in Monrovia.

Deputy Police Direct General for Operations, Marvin Sackor, said:” Those arrested will be investigated, charged and prosecuted.”

On Wednesday, October 21, 2020, several persons believed to be Guineans gathered at that Country Embassy demanding that elections results in Guinea be announced.

The protesters were disbursed following the intervention of the Liberia National Police, because they reportedly started throwing stones, after being denied entry into the Embassy.
