MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The new Chinese Ambassador to Liberia has assured the Liberian Government of his Country’s commitment to supporting Government’s Communication Sector.

Ambassador Ren Yisheng said:” The sector is important to the reconstruction of the Country.”

He also said the bilateral cooperation between Liberia and China, regarding technical assistance to the State Broadcaster cannot be overemphasized.

According to Ambassador Yisheng, broadcasting plays a major role in the functionaire of any Country.

He made the statement Wednesday, October 14, 2020, when outgoing Director General of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) Ledgerhood Rennie turned over to his successor, Estelle Liberty-Kemoh.
