Senate charges APM Terminal with contempt

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Senate has charged the Management of APM Terminal with contempt.

Plenary’s decision followed the reported misconduct of the Management to the Senate’s Labor Committee, during recent hearing on bad labor practices at the entity.

Presenting findings from inquiry made during Monday’s session, Senate Pro-Tempore Albert Chie said:” The misconduct of APM Terminal is an act of undermining.”

The Pro-Tempore also term as cosmetic an apology letter sent to Plenary by APM Terminal, saying the letter justified the misconduct of the Management.

Meanwhile, APM Terminal’s Management is expected to appear before the Senate on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.
