MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Information Minister designate, Ledgerhood Rennie, says the improvement of the Liberian Government’s information machinery will be the hallmark of his administration, if confirmed.

Mr. Rennie ensured the enhancement of national dialogue and debate, through effective information dissemination strategies for the growth and development of Liberia.

According to ELBC Legislative Reporter, Mr. Rennie made the commitment Tuesday, October 7, 2020, when he appeared for confirmation hearing before the Senate Committee on Information and Broadcasting.

The Information Minister Designate told the Senate that the positive projection of the Country’s image in public service delivery to the people is one of the top priorities of his administration.

Prior to his ascendency to the new portfolio, Mr. Rennie served as Director General of the State-run Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), with distinction in the media industry of Liberia, over the years.

Still at the Senate, LBS Director General Designate Estelle Liberty-Kemoh has vowed to rebrand the entity, if confirmed.

Madam Kemoh told the Senate Committee on Information and Broadcasting that she will ensure LBS operate in its full capacity nationwide.

She said:” Vital information dissemination is critical to the growth of any nation.”

Madam Kemoh thanked the Liberian Leader for the confidence reposed in her, and promised to exhibit high level of professionalism during her administration.
