Former Pres. Sirleaf urges Liberians to embrace peace

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberians have been urged to denounce electoral violence and embrace peace, for the forward movement of the Country.

Former President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf said:” Peace is critical to the growth and development of the Country, noting that in the absence of peace, development is illusive.”

Madam Sirleaf said with fifteen years of peace maintenance, Liberians should not revert to violence.

The former Liberian Leader is admonishing Liberians to use dialogue in solving problems emanating from electoral process.

According to our reporter, Madam Sirleaf made the assertion Sunday, September 20, 2020, at the close of worship service at the Christ Embassy Church on Duport Road, in Paynesville City, outside Monrovia.
