It added that the safety of the President remains a national priority, which h it will protect at all cost.

The Office of the National Security Advisor said it has also mandated the Executive Protection Service (EPS) to neutralize any threat to the safety of the President, with maximum force within the confines of the law.

Meanwhile, the EPS has termed as act of provocation, a statement of threat on the life of the Liberian Leader by Senator Darius Dillon.

Speaking at a news conference Monday, September 14, 2020, EPS Director Trokon Roberts said such statement undermines the mandate of the EPS.

Director Roberts said:” The EPS will not hesitate to respond to anyone or group of individuals posing imminent danger to the President’s motorcade.”

The EPS Boss has further warned that any attack on the Presidential Motorcade or residence of the President as threatened by Senator Dillon will receive appropriate security response.
