ECOWAS makes donation to Liberia’s Security Sector

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-An assortment of security equipment has been presented to the Liberian Government, through the National Small Arms Commission in support of the security sector.

The equipment donated by ECOWAS included Hand Pallet Trucks, Security Camera System, server, keyboards desktop, network cables, electric extension box among others.

Presenting the items, ECOWAS Special Representative to Liberia, Ambassador Baba Tunde Ajisomo, recounted the role of President George Weah in promoting and maintaining regional security.

Receiving the equipment on behalf of the Liberian Government, the Security Advisor to President Weah, to Jefferson Kanmoh, praised ECOWAS for the donation.

Mr. Kanmoh said the equipment will also help improve record keeping surveillance, the management of stock pile of arms and ammunition in the Country.
