Several high schools receive masks in Maryland County

MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-Reports from Maryland County say several high school students in the County have begun receiving nose masks.

According to ELBC Maryland County Correspondent, the distribution is intended to curtail the spread of COVID-19 among students preparing to sit the WASSCE Exams, in August this year.

Our Correspondent said:” The distribution is being carried out by the South East Women Organization and the Voluntary for Healthy Liberia, respectively.”

Speaking at the Fatima High School recently, Harper City Mayor, Blessing Howard, praised the two the institutions for their initiative.

Madam Howard said:” The masks distribution will also be extended to all high schools in Grand Kru and River Gee Counties.”
