Liberia observes five-day of Nat’l Mourning

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberians are observing five-day of National Mourning as part of activities befitting the home going of fallen Montserrado County District Nine Representative, Munah Pelham-Youngblood.

It followed the declaration of National Mourning by Government as contained in the official protocol released by the Office of the Chief of Protocol of the Republic.

According to the protocol, the period of mourning runs from Tuesday, August 4 to Saturday, August 8, 2020, in honor of the fallen Liberian Stateswoman.

The protocol is also quoted as saying the National Enzyme will be flown half-mast on all public buildings in Montserrado County, from 8AM to 6PM during the mourning period.
