Jackson Doe Hospital to get a new generator

NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Finance is expected to shortly release funds for the purchase an electric transformer for use by the Jackson Doe Hospital in Nimba County.

The electric transformer will, for the time, be used through the West Africa Power Pool.

Our Lower Nimba County Correspondent quotes the Deputy Administrator of the facility, Ebenezer Struther, as saying the transformer will bring relieve to the Hospital.

Mr. Struther said:” The Administration of the Hospital spent hundreds of United States dollars daily on the purchase of diesel fuel to run the facility.”

Our Correspondent said prior to the coming of the transformer, electricity has been a serious problem at the Jackson Doe Hospital in Nimba County.
