Govs of Liberia, France signed to support Liberia’s Nat‘l Policy on TVET Edu

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Governments of Liberia and France have signed a ten million Euro grant to support Liberia’s National Policy on (TVET) Education.

As part of the grant, two-thousand young Liberians will be trained to boost their technical qualifications in the fields of electricity, construction, agriculture and coding.

The program also targets six vocational training centers, including the Tumutu Agriculture School (MVTC), Tubman High School, Booker Washington Institute, LOIC and Don Bosco.

Finance Minister, Samuel Tweah, signed on behalf of the Liberian Government, while French Ambassador Terence Wills signed for the Government of France.

The five-year project will be developed by the Institute for European Cooperation and Development (IECD).
