Suspended Paramount Chief calls for reinstatement…

NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-A suspended paramount Chief in Lower Nimba County is calling for his re-instatement, after being acquitted from witchcraft allegations in the area.

According to our Lower Nimba County Correspondent, the man was accused of being a witch last year by witch doctors.

Our Correspondent said:” Nimba County Inspector then ordered his suspension, until he goes through the process of taking an oath.”

He said the Paramount Chief has taken the oath and the man was found not guilty of the allegation, prompting calls for his re-instatement.

Our Correspondent also quotes youth in the area as calling on the local authorities to ensure the acquitted paramount Chief is re-instated.
