Independent Council of Patriots condemns violence…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Independent Council of Patriots (ICOP) has condemned Thursday, June 25, 2020, violence in Paynesville and Sinkor by some unscrupulous individuals.

The protesters set ablaze tires in protest of alleged increment in voice call and data by GSM companies.

A release quotes the Chairman of the Independent Council of Patriots, Amb. Rufus Neufville, as saying the incident is an act of terrorism.

Amb. Neufville called on State security to ensure the perpetrators are dealt with in accordance with the law of Liberia.

Meanwhile, the ICOP said:” We will begin our regular community outreach activities shortly in Montserrado and Grand Bassa Counties.”
