Liberian Govt.re-assures Ivoirian Refugees of protection

BAHN DISTRICT, NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Ivorian Refugees in Nimba County have been re-assured of the Liberian Government’s protection.

According to our Lower Nimba County Correspondent, the commitment was made at the Celebration of World Refugee Day in the County recently.

Our Nimba County correspondent quotes the Head of LRRRC in Bahn District, Helena Musa, as reaffirming Government’s commitment to the protection of refugees and internally displaced persons in Bahn, Nimba County.

Madam Musa said:” The refugees and other internally displaced persons will always be protected across the borders of Liberia.”

They also commended the Liberian Government for the care given them over the years.
