GRTEENVILLE, SINOE COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Association of Community Radios in Greenville, Sinoe County, has launched an intensive COVID-19 month- long preventive awareness campaign.

The campaign started last week and is supported by the Liberian Government, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program.

According to ELBC Sinoe County Correspondent, the project is intended to re-enforce the total neglect of COVID-19 preventive measures by most residents of the County, especially in Greenville.

He said the program focal person, Lawrence Parker, said:” The campaign will be taken from street to street, using flyers to encourage compliance as opposed to the denial mentality.”

According to our Correspondent, the wearing of masks and the application of other preventive measures are only common among health workers.
