MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The embattled Secretary General of the Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) says he remains the Secretary of the party.

Mr. Robert Sammie was expelled from the party by its National Executive Committee.

Recently, the embattled Secretary General differed with the Party National Chairman, Dan Saryah, to unilaterally shift the Party to the newly Rain Bow Alliance.

Mr. Sammie said the decision of the Party will be challenged legally.

When contacted, Mr. Saryah said the decision to shift MOVEE to the Rain Bow Alliance was reached by the National Executive members, and Mr. Sammie’s expulsion was done in line with the Party’s Constitution.
