My Administration will Raise Standards of Liberian Women- Prez. Weah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – President George Weah says he will ensure that the standards of Liberian women are raised to a consideration level under his administration.

President Weah said that is why under the CDC – Led Government several instruments aimed to protect and promote the rights of women are signed into law.

He side besides the passage of these law, there are lots of women being appointed in various sectors of government ranging from Ministers, Assistant Ministers and Directors.

The Liberian Leader said those appointments are also within the security sector like the Liberia National Police and the armed Forces of Liberia, among others. 

Speaking Friday in Congo Town at the observance on International Women’s Day, President Weah commended those women who worked on the second edition of the Liberian Women Manifesto.
