All is Set for 63rd Anniversary Celebrations of the Armed Forces of Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Daniel Ankrah- Reports) – The Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) is expected on February 11 celebrate the 63rd AFL- Day Celebrations in Monrovia.

The celebration will be held under the theme, A strategy to incorporate more females in the security sector, with special emphasis on the Armed Forces of Liberia.

Making the disclosure Monday, Assistant Defense Minister for Public Affairs, Sam Collins, said there will also be series of side events to commemorate the Day.

Minister Collins named a symposium to be held at the Monrovia City Hall on Wednesday and Friday, Prayer service at a Mosque in Paynesville.

He said on February 8, there will be a simultaneous free medical outreach in Careysburg and a cleanup campaign in Caldwell.

The Fourteenth Military Hospital is expected to be dedicated on the eve of Armed Forces Day.
