Pres. Boakai Challenges Liberians to Embrace Compassion…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has called on Liberians to embrace compassion, forgiveness, and national unity.

The Liberian Leader acknowledged the nation’s ongoing struggles toward healing, unity, and transformation.

The President’s statement was contained in a Good Friday message to Liberians, especially those of the Christian Faith.

Good Friday in the Christian calendar commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

He described Christ’s suffering as a powerful reminder that even in the darkest moments, hope remains alive.

President Boakai urged citizens of all faiths, ethnic backgrounds, and identities to draw strength from the values of the day, especially sacrifice for the greater good.

The President reaffirmed his commitment to leading the nation with humility and honesty, guided by service, justice, and love for country and humanity.
