MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A high-level delegation from the Liberian Senate is in Morocco to attend the annual conference of the Association of African Senate.
The delegation is headed by the Senate Pro Tempore, Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence.
The delegation includes Senate Committee Chair on Foreign Affairs, Abraham Darius Dillon, Jonathan Sogbie, Senate Committee Chair on Maritime, and Deputy Press Director, Siafa Jallah.
The conference, scheduled for April 8-9, is bringing together leaders of twenty-five African Parliaments’ Upper Chambers to discuss their role in consolidating democracy and preserving peace in Africa.
The event aims to strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation and adopt a Rabat Declaration outlining shared commitments.
