Police Officially Charges Samuel Jackson with Multiple Offenses Concerning Wife’s Death

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police (LNP) has formally charged Samuel Jackson with multiple offenses regarding the death of his wife, following weeks of investigations.

Defendant Jackson was charged with manslaughter, aggravated assault, negligent homicide, and recklessly endangering the life of another person.

His charges were confirmed by Police Inspector General, Col. Gregory Coleman, during a press conference.

Col. Coleman said,” We were convinced by the charges levied against Samuel Jackson, especially without the toxicology report”.

The Police Inspector General said Jackson will be immediately forwarded to court for criminal prosecution.

The police charges come at a time when there are reports that the Liberian government has indicted defendant Jackson by the Grand Jury of Montserrado County.

It is expected that his sealed indictment will be served on him when he is remanded at the Monrovia Central Prison in a couple of days.

Meanwhile, Jackson has spent his first night at the Monrovia Central Prison after being formally charged with multiple offenses regarding the death of his South African wife.
