MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police (LNP) says it is advancing its international security cooperation efforts, following a high-level working visit by Police Inspector General, Col. Gregory Coleman, to Morocco.
During the visit, Col. Coleman engaged with officials of the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations, widely regarded as the judicial arm of Morocco’s security architecture.
An LNP’s statement says the visit builds on prior engagements with the General Directorate of National Security and aims to formalize a comprehensive bilateral security cooperation framework.
As part of the engagement, the IGP also toured the National Laboratory of Scientific and Technical Police in Casablanca, where discussions centered on strengthening technical capacity and adopting modern forensic and intelligence-led policing methods within the LNP.
The engagements highlighted a shared commitment to enhancing law enforcement capabilities through key areas of cooperation, including advanced substance analysis, forensic toxicology, counter-terrorism, and forensic chemistry, among others.
