MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has re-echoed the Liberian Government’s commitment to upholding international best practices in its governance structure.
President Boakai noted that this commitment will ensure public officials perform their respective duties in accordance with their constitutional mandate.
The President reassured citizens that the government will endeavor to uphold international best practices that resonate with Liberia’s legal system through accountable and transparent channels.
The Liberian Leader’s statement was contained in a speech delivered on his behalf by Justice Minister Cllr. Oswald Tweh on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in Paynesville City, at the start of a three-day training.
The training was organized by the Office of the Ombudsman, intended to improve the effective operations of the institution.
The training brings together partners and a cross-section of participants, and is expected to further put key activities and information about the Office of the Ombudsman in the spotlight.
