MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Education Minister Dr. Jarso Jallah has launched the 2026 Local Scholarship Orientation and Contract Signing.

Minister Jallah urged beneficiaries to honor their commitments as the program expands equitable access to higher education in Liberia.

Speaking under the theme “The Signature of Promise,” the Ministry of Education boss said each signed contract represents a binding commitment to integrity, discipline, and service to the nation.

She explained that the 2026 Local Scholarship Program is rooted in merit, fairness, and inclusion to ensure students from all counties benefit based on achievement.

The Minister noted that the program integrates structured community service to connect education with national development goals.

She congratulated the new cohort and challenged them to translate scholarship opportunities into real impact for their communities.
