Gov’t of Liberia to Construct Modern Judicial Complex in Voinjama

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia is poised to construct a modern Judicial Complex in Voinjama, Lofa County.

 According to the government, a groundbreaking for the construction of the complex is being performed by Vice President Jeremiah Koung on Monday, February 9, 2026.

Vice President Koung also graced the opening of the Circuit Court in the county.

ELBC Lofa County Correspondent said,” The complex groundbreaking program is being attended by an array of government officials, including the Minister of Local Government, Francis Nyumalin, and Chief Justice Yamie Gbeisay”.

The proposed judicial complex, according to the ELBC correspondent, will include residential apartments to host assigned judges and magistrates.

Meanwhile, residents and local officials in Lofa County have welcomed the project, promising to collaborate with the contractors to ensure its completion.
