MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning has published the Fiscal Year 2026 National Budget.

 It followed the signing into law by President Joseph Boakai.

The published budget is in the range of 1.2 billion US dollars.

According to the Finance Ministry, the budget year began January 1 to December 31, 2026.

An ELBC news review of the budget shows that the eleven sectors have been captured for expenditure.

The sectors include public administration, municipal government, transparency and accountability, security, and rule of law sectors.

Others are health, social development services, energy and environment, agriculture, infrastructure and basic services, and industry and commerce.
