Liberia Celebrates with the Rest of the World on Int’l Anti-Corruption Day

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia, today, joins the rest world in observing International Anti-Corruption Day, with a call for renewed commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Speaking at the event on Tuesday in Monrovia, several partners highlighted the issues of money laundering and terrorist financing problems that undermine economic stability.

A representative of African Global Logistics (AGL), Musa Konneh, reaffirms its commitment to transparent and compliant business operations, describing integrity as both a corporate and moral obligation.

During the event, the Chairman of the Office of the Ombudsman, Finley Karnga, stressed that promoting ethics and good governance from everyone, including strict adherence to the laws

He further called on government officials, institutions receiving government funding to report and return unused funds.
