MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai’s Representative to the Board of Booker Washington Institute (BWI), Jonathan Paye-Layleh, is appealing to the President to revisit his decision to dissolve the board.
He stated that a proper investigation was never initiated by the legal personnel appointed by the President.
Pay-Lay Leh added that his appeal is not intended to reinstate members of the board, but to ensure that a proper investigation is conducted, considering the 10-count complaint filed by the board members.
According to him, members of the board recently met with the President and presented a ten-count complaint against the principal of the institution, Nancy Freeman, regarding certain administrative proceedings.
He further requests that the issues before the Liberian Leader be given proper consideration.
