MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The International Association of Lions Clubs has welcomed the remarkable leadership and services the Past Governor of District 403-A2 for his leadership provided to the Lions Club of the District.
The International President of the Association, Fabricio Oliveira, said,” Clemenceau Urey received the Presidential medal and a Certificate of Appreciation for his services rendered”.
Oliveira said Lion Urey’s leadership provided the Lions Club of the District with its dedication to furthering the purposes of the association as District Governor for the Lion year 2024-2025.
He added that Lion Urey has demonstrated visionary leadership, dedication to humanitarian services, and commitment to uplifting communities across Liberia and beyond.
In remarks over the weekend, Governor Urey spoke of several initiatives done under his leadership.
He named the establishment of the JFK Eye Center and the establishment of Eye Centers in Grand Bassa and Nimba Counties.
He said,” Six Eye Centers will be established in Montserrado, Margibi, and Bomi Counties, and the AMEU Computer Lab for Visually Impaired Students”.
Clemenceau Urey expressed gratitude for the trust bestowed on him and reaffirmed his commitment to the Lions Club.
