MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Journalists for the Protection of Nature and the West Africa Civil Society Institute have signed a partnership agreement for the next three years.
The instrument between both institutions seeks to expand efforts towards biodiversity conservation in Liberia, one of the key focus areas for JPN-Liberia.
On the Super Morning Show on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, JPN Program Officer Mike Dahn disclosed that both institutions will work collaboratively in ensuring that biodiversity is conserved and properly managed in Liberia.
Dahn said,” A team from Ghana is expected to visit Liberia later this month to train staff of JNP-Liberia, especially in the area of institutional capacity building”.
Journalists for the Protection of Nature-JPN is a local community communication group that advocates for the Environmental Sector and the natural resource governance of Liberia, mainly within the Forestry Sector.
