MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Service Agency (CSA) of Liberia has taken necessary reforms in line with laws and policies to transform the sector.
According to CSA Director General Josiah Joekai, one of such steps is the CSA Testing Center, intended to ensure a proper recruitment process for the public sector.
Dr. Joekai said, “The move is aimed at improving service delivery and is in line with the government’s reform policy, which aims to ensure that professionals are hired for professional governmental functions.”
The CSA boss is committed to ensuring that the center is fully utilized by national and international standards.
Meanwhile, the CSA has disclosed that beginning Monday, January 28, 2025, the institution will only process Personnel Action Notices when backed by valid information from the CSA Testing Center.
The action, according to Director General Joekai, is part of the CSA Standing Order, which allows the entity to handle all recruitment processes within the public sector.
Dr. Joekai has, at the same time, instructed all human resource personnel to adhere to the mandate or face consequences for any delay.
He stated that the entity remains committed to working with all government entities to ensure a successful recruitment and professional service delivery throughout the country.
Director General Josiah Joekai emphasized the importance of the private sector in helping the government and its people through additional job creation.
