Women Groupings in Lofa County Benefit from over One Million Liberian Dollars…

LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Seven Women Groupings in Lofa County have benefited from a one million fifty thousand Liberian Dollars loan scheme.                  

The loan is part of a fifty million Liberian Dollars Interest-Free Women Empowerment Loan Scheme initiated by Lofa County Senator, Momo Cyrus.

The benefiting Women Groups include the Pirlowu Women Village Saving Club, Selleh Maka, Wenla Saving Club, and the Yezebu.

Others are, the Balakpalazu United Saving Club, Bolongwedu Saving Club – Help Yourself, and the Mbombagebowa Saving Club.

The women groupings were selected through a rigorous vetting process among hundreds of applications.

Meanwhile, the vetting process is ongoing to ensure other Women Groupings across the county benefit from the scheme.
