Liberia Civil Aviation Authority’s Delegation Returns from Qatar…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A high-power delegation from the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) has returned home after honoring an invitation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority in Doha.

The delegation was headed by the entity’s Director General, Julius Dennis, including LCAA’s Board Chairman, David Farhat, and Human Resource and Manpower Development Officer, Felecia Gray, amongst others.

According to a recent release, during the Team’s visit, LCAA Director General Dennis underscored several challenges at the entity, stressing the need for a bilateral relationship with Qatar.

Mr. Dennis highlighted the low effective implementation score of twenty-seven point-five percent as indicated in the 2022 International Civil Aviation Organization’s audit results.

He, however, reiterated the LCAA’s commitment to implementing a comprehensive road map and corrective action plan to alleviate and mitigate discrepancies.

Remarking, Qatar’s Civil Aviation Authority President, Mohammed Alhajri, pledged the entity’s full support to training initiatives and technical support, expressing willingness to collaborate with the LCAA.

Meanwhile, the two countries agreed to formalize their requests for assistance through established diplomatic channels.
