Liberia’s House Speaker Koon to Attend Swearing-in Ceremony of Ghana’s Pres. and Vice Pres.

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-House Speaker, Richard Koon has officially been invited to attend to swearing-in ceremony of Ghana’s President and Vice President.

Speaker Koon was invited by the Parliament of Ghana through its Speaker, Alban Kingsford Bagbin.

In his communication, Speaker Bagbin highlighted the vital role of strengthening relationships and collaboration among Parliaments across the African continent as Ghana prepares to transition to a new political administration.

He noted that Speaker Koon’s presence would symbolize a commitment to unity, shared values, and democratic governance between the two Countries.

According to the communication, the ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 7.

Meanwhile, House Speaker Richard Koon is expected to accompany President Joseph Boakai to the inauguration ceremony.
