Gov. of Liberia Echoes Dedication to Rebranding Liberia’s Image…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has reiterated its dedication to rebranding Liberia’s image globally, for possible investment to improve the lives of the citizens.

Deputy Information Minister for Administration and Chairman of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Steering Committee, Johnny Tarkpah, said: “The government’s quest to deliver the needs of Liberians remains unbending.”

Minister Tarkpah made the statement on Friday, December 27, in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, at the OGP’s citizens’ engagement.

The engagement was held in the county ahead of the validation of the OGP 5TH National Action Plan.

He said:” The OGP remains open to substantial recommendations that will enhance the growth and development of the country.”

The OGP is a global initiative that aims to improve governance by promoting transparency and accountability while fostering citizens’ participation in decision processes.
