GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-A twenty-six-year-old man has allegedly hung himself, while in a prison cell in Grand Gedeh County.
Blatan Geniyan was found dead on Thursday, December 19, 2024, morning during a police regular check-up.
Before the incident, the man was accused of stealing a mobile phone while spending the night at a friend’s house.
Meanwhile, the body of the man has been turned over to his family for burial.
Still in the county, the Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court has released five persons connected to a case involving major destruction of properties.
Judge Zubalah Kisiku attributed their release to 18.1 Criminal Procedural Law.
