Liberia Revenue Authority Announces Procurement of 50 Sets of Satellite Terminals

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has announced the procurement of fifty sets of satellite terminals.

Speaking at the Liberian Senate on Thursday, October 31,2024, the LRA Commissioner General, Dorbor Jallah, said:” It followed the granting of license to Star-Link to operate in Liberia by the Liberia Telecommunication Authority (LTA), recently.”

Commissioner General Jallah added that the move is aimed at ensuring that every custom and tax office across the country is connected in real time to the revenue system.

He told the Senate Committee on Commerce that this will help raise domestic revenue of billions of dollars.

The LRA Commissioner General, Dorbor Jallah, disclosed that the entity’s technicians are working on modalities to ensure that the devices are installed as soon as possible.
