Labor Ministry Reaffirms Commitment to Regulate Issuance of Work Permits…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Minister of Labor, Cooper Kruah, has reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to regulate the issuance of work permits in Liberia.

Minister Kruah said:” The Labor Ministry will continue to ensure that laws regulating work permits for Liberian concessionaires are adhered to. No company will be issued a permit, unless they agreed to employ more Liberians in their workforce, and the Labor Ministry will compel foreign companies to employ Liberians in higher managerial positions.”

Cllr. Cooper Kruah gave the assurance on Wednesday, October 30,2024, when he addressed the Liberian Senate Committee on Labor in Monrovia.
