MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Vice President Jeremiah Koung has underscored the transformative potential of Liberia’s mineral sector in reshaping the nation’s fabric.

Vice President Koung emphasized that the mineral sector plays a crucial role in driving the country’s economic development.

He made the statement over the weekend during the handover of the Mineral Resource Survey Project results from the Chinese Government to the Liberian Government.

Vice President Koung expressed gratitude to the People’s Republic of China for its steadfast support in enhancing Liberia’s mineral resource capabilities.

Vice President Jeremiah Koung said:” Liberia possesses significant mineral reserves ready for extraction, as such, the results of the Mineral Resource Survey Project are essential for unlocking the country’s mineral potential.”
