MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The University of Liberia (UL) has officially declared the initiation of its Doctoral Programs, with the launch scheduled for Wednesday, October 23.

The disclosure was made during a press conference held on Tuesday, October 22,2024, where Dr. Al-Hassan Conteh, the Acting President of the UL, provided insights into the upcoming event.

Dr. Conteh emphasized that the launch will take place under the theme:” Strengthening Research and Innovation for Higher Education Transformation in Liberia,” highlighting the institution’s commitment to advance academic excellence and fostering innovative research.

He also highlighted the significance of the doctoral programs in enhancing the educational landscape of Liberia.

Dr. Conteh said:” The introduction of the advanced degrees is a pivotal step towards elevating the standards of higher education in the country.”

Meanwhile, President Joseph Boakai is expected to officially launch the doctoral programs.
