MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Senate has concurred with the House of Representatives on the passage of the Recast Budget.

It followed thorough investigations by the Conference Committees of the Senate and the House of Representatives on Monday, September 23, 2024.

The Recast National Budget passed by the National Legislature is in the tone of seven hundred thirty-eight-point eight US Dollars.

The communication from the National Legislature on the passage of the Budget has been sent to the Executive Branch of Government for subsequent printing into handbill.

The passage will not set the stage as Liberia is prepared to arrange a new Extended Credit Facility at the International Monetary Fund’s Executive Board Meeting on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
