Liberian Gov. Announces Bids for Legislative Support Projects

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government has announced bids for over three hundred Legislative Support Projects across the country.

It followed a recent assessment conducted by a team of engineers from the Liberian Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).

In an ELBC interview on Thursday, September, September 19, 2024, LACE Director Julius Sele named the projects as roads, schools, clinics rehabilitation, and the construction of roads.

Mr. Sele added that the community development projects were submitted by Representatives and Senators, following consultations with their constituents.

The LACE Executive Director said:” The over eleven million US Dollar projects if completed, will ease citizens’ desire for basic social services in the rural areas.”

The LACE Boss also called on Liberian-owned construction companies to take advantage of the ongoing bidding process.
