Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission Says 892 Gov. Officials Assets Undeclared

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairperson of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) says eight hundred ninety-two officials of the Liberian Government have refused to declare their assets, amidst the closure of the process.

Cllr. Alexandra Zoe said:” A total of one thousand nine hundred officials were identified by the LACC to declare their assets. The penalty for those in violation will range from withholding of salaries, dismissal, among others.”

Cllr. Alexandra Zoe said the exercise is intended to promote transparency and accountability in public service, and re-echoed the LACC’s commitment to the fight against corruption.
