VP Koung Launches Nat’l Educational Stakeholder Retreat Today

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Vice President Jeremiah Koung will on today, Thursday, officially launch the National Educational Stakeholder Retreat in Ganta, Nimba County.

The Retreat is being organized by the House of Representatives Legislative Committee on Education and Public Administration.

The Retreat will be held under the theme:” Transformative Approach in Building Liberia’s Educational Sector.”

According to a release issued recently from the House of Representatives Press Bureau, the event is scheduled to take place from Thursday, September 5 to Saturday, September 7.

It added that the Retreat will bring together key figures in Liberia’s Education Sector, including Vice President Koung and House Speaker Fonati Koffa.

Several personalities, including House Speaker Koffa, and the House’s Chair on Education and Public Administration, Thomas Quioh, will speak at the opening ceremony, while an official statement will be delivered by Education Minister Jarso Jallah.
