MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Public Works Ministry has finalized preparations for the demolition of marked structures within the vicinities of the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Ministerial Complex and the SKD Boulevard Junction.

The Ministry says the demolition exercise will include affected properties for which compensation has been made and new structures of buildings constructed in the right of way.

A statement quotes the Ministry of Public Works as saying the targeted properties are predominantly found around the Overpass Bridge Project at the EJS Ministerial Complex and the SKD Boulevard Junction.

Meanwhile, the Ministry is advising property owners in the project-affected areas who have not received resettlement compensation payments to contact the Ministry to begin documentation and payment processes.
