“No Monkeypox Cases in Sinoe County”-Nat’l Public Health Institute of Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) has clarified that there are no cases of Monkey Pox in Sinoe County as reported by some media institutions.

According to an NPHIL release, while it welcomes collaboration with the media to create awareness to stop and prevent the spread of Monkeypox, NPHIL however, called on journalists to double-check information before publication.

The NPHIL release also called on Liberians and foreign residents to follow preventive measures to ensure the safety of all.

The release is quoted as saying the Director General of the National Public Health Institute of Liberia; Dr. Dougbeh Nyen remains the official Spokesperson of the institute.
