Former Press Union Liberia President Calls for Increment in Nat’l Budget for…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The former President of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL), Charles Coffey, has called for an increment in the National Budget for the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS).

Mr. Coffey said:” Increment of the LBS Budget will put it on par with other State broadcasters on the African Continent and beyond. Information dissemination is vital, especially to citizens residing in the rural areas.”

The PUL former President also hailed the current LBS Management headed by Director General Eugene Fahngon, for the remarkable performance.

Mr. Charles Coffey spoke on Monday, August 26,24, in an ELBC interview during a courtesy visit at the State Broadcaster in Paynesville City.
